Here at Jets we take the Health and Welfare of our staff, Children and Families seriously. Jets are currently taking advice from Public Health England in regards to Coronavirus.
We are currently not planning to close our facilities, however we will take advice from the Department of Education, and if the schools are closing we will follow suit and also close. We will keep everyone informed if this happens.
We are aware that this can be a frustrating and worrying time for all and we suggest that if you feel your mental health is suffering because of this that you contact Mind for some advice and support https://www.mind.org.uk/
Self-Isolation – If anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid -19 (a new, persistent cough or a temperature above 37.8) they should self-isolate and inform us as quickly as possible. If one person in the house has symptoms you should follow guidance from www.gov.uk to reduce the risk of passing this on to other family members.
We request that all Parents/Carers/ Staff and Children Wash their hands before entering into our classrooms, or if this is not possible to use hand sanitiser.
Our door handles, surfaces etc are being cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day, and staff have been asked to be extra vigilant in our cleaning and hygiene practices.
If you have any questions please contact our office and we will try to help you.
Coronavirus – The Department for Education has launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 relating to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows: Phone 0800 046 8687. Email DfE.firstname.lastname@example.org. Opening hours 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
We appreciate your help and support during this time, please keep an eye on your emails and our Facebook page for any updates.
