Government Childcare Offer From April 2024

If you are an eligible working parent in England, you can apply by 31st March for:

Up to 15 hours childcare per week for your two-year-old, over 38 weeks of the year. To find out more about how to claim 15 hours childcare including how to get your code go to Childcare Choices.gov.vo.uk This is part of the largest ever childcare support expansion by the UK government.

Up to 30 hours childcare per week for your three or four-year-old, over 38 weeks of the year.

If you haven’t used a childcare provider before or want to change it, find the right one for you and check whether they offer 15 or 30 hours childcare. You will then need to give your code to your childcare provider.
You can use your 15 or 30 childcare hours alongside other childcare schemes such as Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit Childcare.
